Glendalough Double Barrel Irish Whiskey (750ml)

This whiskey opens with a rich nose of dark fruit, cherry, raisin, fig and Christmas pudding. Floral notes with lemongrass, citrus and a touch of nutmeg. Sweet and smooth on the palate, with butterscotch, honey and peppercorn, dried fruit, maraschino cherries and brown sugar. Ginger spices a touch of almond and earthiness fill the finish.

Our Double Barrel Irish Whiskey begins its maturation process in flame charred ex Bourbon American oak. It is finished in Oloroso casks from Montilla , a small town found in the rolling hills of the Spanish countryside.

We choose the bodega, the liquid, the casks and the cooper in this region of Spain to deliver a terroir driven sense of this land , encapsulated in the liquid when we put our whiskey in these slow toasted casks for aging.

These specially selected casks combined with expert liquid finishing, deliver a rich and complex flavor to our Double Barrel Irish Whiskey.
