This wine is unique, round, and full of exotic fruit aromas, boasting a long finish on the palate with great ageing potential.
Pair with Seafood, Foie gras, White fish, Pan-fried scallops, Choucroute, Tarte Tatin.
The only white Aloxe-Corton made with 100% Pinot Gris (called “Pinot Beurot” in Burgundy). This wine has a very long persistence on the palate, slightly acidic, and is well-balanced and full of finesse.
Aged for 16 months in oak barrels. 50% new oak.
A whiff of the exotic can be found on the aromas of melon and white peach along with a hint of citrus confit. The succulent, delicious and fleshy medium weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the clean, dry and refreshing finale where a touch of rusticity slowly emerges. Drink: 2026+
