The Contini Sartiglia Cannonau di Sardegna opens with an intense and elegant nose with ample notes of red fruits, balsamic notes, closing with touches of myrtle and Mediterranean scrub. The palate reveals a decisive mouthfeel, persistent fruity notes, rich in smooth and enveloping tannins.
Goes well with grilled meats and meaty pasta dishes, or try with flavorful fish stews.
90% Cannonau, 10% other local red grapes from the area of Oristano, mid-western coast of Sardegna. Aged six months in second passage barriques.
