The Domaine de la Potardiere Muscadet Sevre et Maine Sur Lie is a supple and fruity wine ideal for accompanying fish and seafood.
For Romain Couillaud, winemaking is a matter of balancing traditional methods and new technologies. Muscadets have always been aged in glass vats on their lees for six months to a year, as required by the appellation.
The history of Domaine de la Potardière has been written for 5 generations on the slopes of the Butte de la Roche in the commune of Loroux-Bottereau, in the heart of the Nantes vineyards.
It is on this naturally sloping land that the vines of Domaine de la Potardière are pampered to produce wines of character, fresh and fruity, each with its own color, grape variety and appellation.
All stages of production of our wines, from planting the vines to bottling, including the aging of the wines, are carried out at the estate, on the hillside since the Butte de la Roche is the highest point in the Nantes vineyard, at 47 meters high.
