Typical Agiorgitiko fresh fruit (sour cherry, licorice) on the nose, slightly on the ripe side, with excellent concentration and depth. Rich mouth with high tannins and acidity, with an overall untamed but structured mouthfeel.
100% Agiorgitiko. Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, aged for 6 months in neutral oak, and bottled unfiltered and unfined with under 32 mg/l sulfites.
Sant’Or wines is located outside the historical 3rd largest Greek city of Patra, and operated by local grower Panagiotis Dimitropoulos, who is cultivating his 4.5 ha of vineyards biodynamically, at an altitude of 600m, with no irrigation. Panagiotis is the first viticulturist to receive a Demeter certification.
