Silvano Bolmida Description
A fascinating contrast in this single-vineyard Barbera from a fine Barolo estate. On the one hand it’s superbly ripe, really gushing with sweet cherry and raspberry fruit that coats your palate from front to back and side to side. Barbera’s typical acidity keeps things fresh and cleans up all the mid-summer fruit while very light tannins allow this to be sipped solo or paired with pasta. And, balancing the fruit, a rich layer of earth and spice Finishes long with spiced, earthy, fruit lingering.
Silvano Bolmida rises, where the cultivation of the 5 hectares of vineyards is carried out exclusively by Silvano and his parents, with particular attention to low quantities. The harvest, which of course is carried out manually, carefully follows the evolution of the analytical and polyphenolic values of each single portion of the vineyard in order to produce wines where extractive richness mixed with elegance ia concetolosia a pre-presentol. A long refinement in the bottle (14 months and more for Barolo), means that the wines arrive on the market already drink them and it will be the consumer's choice to appreciate their harmonious youth or to wait for their complexion in the front a wine that represents the identity of a vine, an area, a producer and his family.
